At
a recent meeting, the Grand Master agreed to the
formation of the Magistral Priory of St. Andrew
of Scotland. He appointed the Chevalier F.
Maguire as the Magistral Prior, he also provided
the new Prior with his Brevet of office.
The Grand Master issued instructions that at a
convenient time agreed by both, the Grand Prior
of England and Wales would install the new Prior
in Scotland. He also agreed to the formation of
the Association of English speaking Knights
Templar, this to be done as soon as possible, and
to report back to him when formed. The contact

Grand Prior of England & Wales Chevalier
James Mangan coming to the end of his term of
office, elections have been held for a new Grand
Prior. The Major Chevalier John Barden was
elected as Grand Prior Elect,and will be
installed in 2004 .
